- You can use baking soda and water to make a paste, then apply it directly to older colors.
- After a few moments, wipe the baking soda with a clean, dry cloth.
- Wipe the stain with a non-corrosive, clean cloth.
- If the color is still there, you can mix water with 10% ammonia and use a dampened cloth to wipe it with the mixture.
This method should remove even the toughest acid stains from your tiles with little or no damage to the tile surface.
pH-balanced Ceramic Surface Cleaners
Non-corrosive and acid-free liquid cleaners for ceramic surfaces are pH-balanced. You can use these cleaning agents to remove acid stains and other hard stains. They are good not only for your tiles but also for the environment.
What to do with acid stains after using these cleaning liquids:
- Mix the juice according to the instructions of the manufacturer with water
- Apply the juice with a soft, bristled brush.
- Allow the solution to sit for 15 seconds, then wipe it off with a clean, dry cloth.
